Why: Because the gospel is the Hope for our hurting world, and we are called to steward sharing that truth.

Friday, October 6th – Pastors & Church Staff:

The Future Church Pastor’s event is designed to be a time of learning and sharing. We believe that healthy pastors need spaces to share, dream, and discern the Spirit’s invitation for their ministry.

Our time together will offer a balance of teaching and an opportunity for discussion. Our goal is to provide some ideas to help you revision, renew, and reignite the ministry God has called you to. The best way we can help in that process is to share knowledge, ask good questions, and then provide you time to discern the Spirit’s invitation for your congregation.

There is NO COST for this event. Please register so we can have the appropriate amounts of food for lunch.

Saturday, October 7th – Pastors & Lay Leaders:

Many churches are struggling to find their place in the world today. Conversations about the future tend to focus on finances, worship attendance, and how much the world has changed.

Imagine what might happen if your church was clear on its purpose, was willing to experiment, and could see the potential and opportunity that surrounds them. Future Church is designed for pastors and church leaders. Our goal is to help you revision, renew, and reignite the ministry God has called you to.

We can best help that process by providing some new ways of looking at ministry, offering some challenging questions, and then providing time for your team to discern the Spirit’s invitation for your congregation. This one-day workshop will offer a balance of teaching, discussion, and opportunity for your leadership team to discern God’s invitation for the people you lead.

We are asking for a $10 donation per person to help cover lunch. Nobody will be turned away for inability to pay. Checks can be made out to A Place in the Conversation.
